This is truly an exquisite headdress - it turns the wearer into an instant goddess, and looks amazing displayed on a wall when it's not being worn.
The base is handmade and lined with crushed velvet for comfort. One of a kind vintage metallic fabric covers the base. Silk orchids, tropical flowers and ferns burst in all directions and cascade around the face. Butterflies and Swarovski crystals decorate the flowers. Several strings of semi-precious beads and crystals are strung from the base like necklaces. Metal medallions, symbols and more crystals adorn the front of the base, above the forehead.
Two straps help keep this surprisingly wearable headpiece secure: a thick elastic strap for behind the base of your head, and a clear, barely visible chin strap. If you don't want to wear a chin strap, this can also go behind the head, under your hair. The base will comfortable fit medium-large heads. If you have big hair, this should work on top of it. If you have a smaller head but want a piece like this, let me know and I'll make a custom size in 2-4 weeks.
This piece was handmade by me from scratch and has always been one of my favorites. She's a knockout and will be the highlight of your dress-up collection.
All large headpieces come with a foam head for easy storage, and to help hold the shape between uses.

Most pieces ship within 1-5 business days. For made-to-order pieces or items requiring specific sizing, delivery takes around 10 business days (2 weeks). We'll email you as soon as your order ships with tracking information. We're getting faster all the time too!
Why does it take this long? Because we make pieces to order in small batches in NYC, not pulled from a warehouse. This ensures quality and reduces waste.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes! We ship to most countries worldwide. International shipping typically takes 7-14 business days depending on your location. Customs duties and taxes are the responsibility of the customer and vary by country.

United States: Free Economy shipping
International: We offer carrier-calculated rates via USPS and DHL Express.

At Michelle Palmer, each garment is crafted to reflect elegance, precision, and luxury. We want you to feel completely confident in your purchase — which is why we cover return shipping if a piece doesn't fit the way you hoped.
Return & Exchange Window: Customers may request a return or exchange within 14 days of the confirmed delivery date, as shown by the carrier's tracking information. This gives you time to receive your order and try it on at home.
Eligibility Requirements: Items must be unworn, unwashed, and unaltered, and free of stains, odors, and damage. All original packaging must be intact. Michelle Palmer reserves the right to refuse returns that do not meet these requirements.
Exchanges: Permitted for size adjustments or an alternate item of equal or greater value, subject to availability. If the new item is of greater value, the difference is due at the time of exchange.
Returns: Approved returns will be issued as store credit or a refund to the original payment method. Store credit never expires.
Final Sale Items (not eligible for return or exchange): Custom sizing requests, custom colorways, accessories, and undergarments.
Return Process: Email mpalmer@michelle-palmer.com within 14 days of receiving your order. Include your order number, reason for return, and photos if applicable. Once approved, a prepaid return label will be provided. Items must be shipped back within 5 business days of approval.
Quality Assurance: Any claims of defects or damage must be reported within 72 hours of delivery with photographic documentation.
